Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Taurib MR Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Taurib MR Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Etoricoxib and Thiocolchicoside, which relieves pain and relaxes the muscles. Etoricoxib is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles.

Q: What if you forget to take Taurib MR Tablet?
A: If you miss a dose of Taurib MR Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Driving:UNSAFE

Taurib MR Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.If you experience dizziness, vertigo or somnolence while on treatment with Taurib MR Tablet, avoid driving.

Kidney:SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Taurib MR Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Taurib MR Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.Use of Taurib MR Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

Liver:CAUTION

Taurib MR Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Taurib MR Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Taurib MR Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.

Taurib MR Tablet helps relieve pain due to muscle spasm.

It may cause dizziness and fatigue. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.

Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Taurib MR Tablet as it may cause excessive drowsiness.

Regularly monitor your blood pressure while taking this medicine, particularly in the first two weeks after starting treatment.

Inform your doctor if you have a history of stomach ulcers, heart diseases, high blood pressure, and liver or kidney disease.

Inform your doctor if you notice yellowing of eyes or skin, dark urine, or stomach pain.
