U-Azom 2gm Injection

U-Azom 2gm Injection is an antibiotic used to prevent or treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. This may include infections of the urinary tract, blood, brain, ear, skin, soft tissue, abdomen, bone, windpipe, and lungs.

U-Azom 2gm Injection is given as a drip (intravenous infusion) or as an injection directly into a vein or a muscle under the supervision of a healthcare professional. Get the injection for as long as the doctor has prescribed. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping the medicine too early may lead to the infection returning or worsening.

Common side effects of U-Azom 2gm Injection include rash, vomiting, nausea, and diarrhea. Temporary pain, swelling, and redness at the injection site may also occur at the injection site. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects persist or if your condition does not improve despite treatment.

Severe bacterial infections

U-Azom 2gm Injection can be safely used in patients who are allergic to penicillins. This medicine has shown no cross-reactivity when used in patients with penicillin allergy.

U-Azom 2gm Injection works by killing bacteria which can cause serious infections. It is used to treat many different types of bacterial infections such as infections of lungs (pneumonia), blood, brain, ear, skin, and soft tissue, abdomen, bone, windpipe and urinary tract. It is given by a doctor or nurse into a vein and should not be self-administered. U-Azom 2gm Injection usually makes you feel better very quickly but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.

U-Azom 2gm Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of U-Azom 2gm Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Regular monitoring of kidney function tests is advised while you are taking this medicine.
