Ulzero-HP Kit is a combination of three medicines: Amoxycillin, Clarithromycin and Esomeprazole, which treats stomach/intestinal ulcers caused by the bacteria. Amoxycillin is an antibiotic which works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Clarithromycin is also an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by the bacteria to carry out vital functions. Together, they eradicate your infection effectively. Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) which reduces the amount of acid in the stomach and relieves acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

Q: What if you forget to take Ulzero-HP Kit?
A: If you miss a dose of Ulzero-HP Kit, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Peptic ulcer disease is a condition in which painful sores or ulcers develop in the inner lining of the stomach or small intestine. It occurs mainly due to bacterial infection or excess acids produced in the stomach. Ulzero-HP Kit helps you manage the symptoms of peptic ulcer disease such as stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, bloating, change in appetite. It also reduces heartburn (burning sensation in the chest) and indigestion associated with it. You need to keep taking the medicine as it is prescribed for it to be effective, even if the symptoms seem to disappear.

Pregnancy:CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Ulzero-HP Kit may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding:CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Ulzero-HP Kit is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Driving:UNSAFE

Ulzero-HP Kit may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.Ulzero-HP Kit can have side effects and the symptoms (such as allergic reactions, dizziness and convulsions) may make you unfit to drive.

Kidney:CAUTION

Ulzero-HP Kit should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Ulzero-HP Kit may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver:SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Ulzero-HP Kit is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Ulzero-HP Kit may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Ulzero-HP Kit is a combination of three medicines which treats stomach/intestinal ulcers by killing the causative bacteria.

Finish the prescribed course of medicine, even if you start to feel better. Stopping it early may make the ulcer harder to treat.

Stop taking Ulzero-HP Kit and inform your doctor immediately if you develop an itchy rash, swelling of the face, throat or tongue or breathing difficulties while taking it.
