Walvidone 5% Powder is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you’re given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen.
This medicine is generally safe and does not usually cause any common side effects. However, if you experience any symptoms after taking this medicine, let your doctor k ow. They may be able to suggest ways to reduce or treat them.

However, take special care if you are applying Walvidone 5% Powder on open large wounds or where the skin is broken like burns. The reason being there may be a risk of excessive absorption of iodine in the blood which may increase to toxic levels.

Walvidone 5% Powder has a natural golden brown color which stains the area where you have applied it. It does not however, permanently stain your skin and fingernails. The stain can be easily removed from your clothes with soap and water.
