Zeety-D Eye/Ear Drops is a medicine used to treat bacterial eye/ear infections. It prevents the growth of the bacteria that cause infection. It also relieves the symptoms of inflammation, such as redness, itchiness, and irritation.

Zeety-D Eye/Ear Drops is to be used only in the affected eye/ear. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Read the label carefully for instructions before you use the medicine. Wash your hands before using this medicine. Do not use too much or too little. Use it in the exact dose as prescribed by the doctor or as instructed on the label.

Use of this medicine may cause a burning sensation, stinging, and irritation at the application site. These are usually temporary and resolve with time. Hold the dropper close to the eye/ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid or ear. Wipe off extra liquid.

Zeety-D Eye/Ear Drops is a combination of two medicines: Dexamethasone and Gatifloxacin. Dexamethasone is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the eye/ear red swollen and itchy. Gatifloxacin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria in the eye/ear by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. This treats your infection.

Q: What if you forget to take Zeety-D Eye/Ear Drops?
A: If you miss a dose of Zeety-D Eye/Ear Drops, use it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule.

Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.

Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after instilling the drop.

If you wear soft contact lenses, remove them before putting in these eye drops and wait at least 15 minutes before putting your lenses back in.

Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.

Zeety-D Eye/Ear Drops might cause blurring of vision. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how the medicine affects you.

It is advisable to reduce screen time (by avoiding watching tv, or phone) and use sunglasses while going out into the sunlight.
