Zoline-M Tablet

Zoline-M Tablet may be taken with or without food. Take it regularly and at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this medicine in the exact dose and duration as advised by your doctor. If you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember it and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. You should not stop this medicine suddenly without talking to the doctor.

Some common side effects of this medicine include dizziness, dry mouth, palpitations, and memory impairment. It is important to inform your doctor if you develop any unusual changes in mood or depression as this medicine may cause suicidal thoughts.

Zoline-M Tablet is a combination of two medicines : Sertraline and Clonazepam. Sertraline is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressant. It works by increasing the levels of serotonin, a chemical messenger in the brain. This improves mood and physical symptoms of depression and also relieves symptoms of post traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, premenstrual dysphoric disorder and anxiety. Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of a chemical messenger (GABA) which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.

You may feel that Zoline-M Tablet is not helping you straightaway. This is because it can take few weeks before you feel the full benefit. It is important that you continue to take it.

Inform your doctor immediately if you get thoughts about harming yourself or ending your life.

Avoid taking antacids 2 hours before or after taking Zoline-M Tablet as they make it harder for your body to absorb the medicine.

If you have diabetes, you will be asked to monitor your blood glucose level regularly as this medicine may affect the levels of sugar in your blood.

Try to keep your regular appointments with your doctor. This is so your doctor can check on your progress.

In Depression

It can help you feel calmer and improve your ability to deal with problems. Do not stop taking it, even when you feel better unless your doctor advises you to. Change in diet and lifestyle can help overcome panic attacks.

In Anxiety disorder

Zoline-M Tablet helps relieve symptoms of anxiety disorder by increasing the level of a natural chemical (serotonin) in the brain. It may decrease fear, unwanted thoughts, tension, restlessness, calms your mind and helps you sleep well. Keep taking the medicine until your doctor advises you to stop. Regular meditation and yoga can help relax your mind and body.

In Obsessive-compulsive disorder

Obsessive-compulsive disorder is a mental condition in which people have unwanted and repeated thoughts, feelings, ideas, sensations (obsessions) or the urge to do something over and over again (compulsions). These obsessions and compulsions can interfere with your daily activities. Zoline-M Tablet helps in treating the symptoms of Obsessive-compulsive disorder and thus improves the quality of your life.

In Post traumatic stress disorder

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a disorder that develops in some people who have experienced a shocking, frightening, or stressful event. Symptoms may include nightmares, flashbacks of the terrifying event, or severe anxiety. Zoline-M Tablet helps decrease fear, anxiety, unwanted thoughts and improves sleep. It also prevents extreme changes in mood and helps you feel less agitated.

In Premenstrual dysphoric disorder

Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) is a condition in which a woman has severe depression symptoms, irritability, anger and tension before her periods (menstruation). Zoline-M Tablet helps you feel calm and improves your mood. It works by increasing the amounts of a natural substance in the brain (serotonin) that helps maintain mental balance.
