Adesure 400mg Tablet is a medicine used for the treatment of liver disease associated with reduced bile formation (intrahepatic cholestasis). It protects the liver cells from toxins and helps the liver to perform its normal functions.
Adesure 400mg Tablet may be taken with or without food. The dose will depend on what you are being treated for and your body weight. This medicine needs to be taken regularly to get the most benefit and you may have to take it for several months or longer, so try to get into a routine. Keep using it as prescribed even if your symptoms disappear.
The most common side effects are nausea, diarrhea, upset stomach, constipation, and dizziness. Not everyone gets side effects. If you are worried about them, or they do not go away, let your doctor know. If you have problems with diarrhea your doctor may reduce the dose or stop the treatment. Drink enough of water or fluids to stay hydrated in case of severe diarrhea and constipation.
Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. Using this medicine can reduce or increase the effect of some other medicines so tell your doctor, all other medicines you are taking. Avoid drinking alcohol as it might increase side effects.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Adesure 400mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
05How It Works
Adesure 400mg Tablet contains S-Adenosyl L-Methoinine Disulfate Tosylate, also known as SAMe, a nutritional supplement, that can restore Glutathione concentrations in the liver and also improves liver damage. SAMe is also involved in many biochemical reactions in the human body that regulate the growth, death and differentiation of hepatocytes (liver cells). Because liver function is compromised in people suffering from liver disease, supplementation with Adesure 400mg Tablet is beneficial.

Driving:UNSAFE
Adesure 400mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

There is limited information available on the use of Adesure 400mg Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
Liver:SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Adesure 400mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Adesure 400mg Tablet is recommended.
09Drug Tips
Adesure 400mg Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of liver disease.
Seek immediate medical attention if you have difficulty breathing after taking the drug.
Adesure 400mg Tablet may interfere with surgery. Its use should be discontinued at least two weeks prior to surgery.
Avoid smoking and drinking as it further degrades liver functioning.
You will be regularly monitored for blood creatinine and blood/urine urea levels while on treatment with Adesure 400mg Tablet.
