AGOVIZ 25MG TABLET helps treat depression. It reduces and gradually eliminates the symptoms of depression such as deep sadness, feelings of worthlessness, loss of interest in activities, sleep disturbances, tiredness, feelings of anxiety, and weight changes.
AGOVIZ 25MG TABLET may be taken with or without food preferably at bedtime. However, it is advised to take it at a fixed time each day to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the blood. Do not stop taking it suddenly without talking to your doctor as it may worsen your symptoms.
Some common side effects of this medicine include headache, nausea, fatigue, anxiety, insomnia (difficulty sleeping), and back pain. Other side effects that may also be observed are stomach pain, changes in body weight, diarrhea, and increased liver enzymes. However, these are temporary and usually resolve on their own in some time. Please consult your doctor if these do not subside or worry you. It even causes dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you.
Before taking this medicine, please tell your doctor if you suffer from any liver problems or diabetes. If you have been taking this medicine for a long time, regular monitoring of blood and liver functions may be required. Be vigilant about unusual darkening or any changes in the color of your urine, light-colored stools, yellowing of skin or eyes, pain in the upper right part of your stomach, and unusual fatigue as this could be signs of liver problems.

AGOVIZ 25MG TABLET is a melatonin agonist. It works by resynchronizing the sleep-wake cycle that is disturbed in depression.
06What If You Miss A Dose?
If you miss a dose of AGOVIZ 25MG TABLET, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

AGOVIZ 25MG TABLET is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Breast feeding:CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR
Information regarding the use of AGOVIZ 25MG TABLET during breastfeeding is not available. Please consult your doctor.
Driving:UNSAFE
AGOVIZ 25MG TABLET may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney:SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
AGOVIZ 25MG TABLET is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of AGOVIZ 25MG TABLET is recommended.However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
Liver:UNSAFE
AGOVIZ 25MG TABLET is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.

You have been prescribed AGOVIZ 25MG TABLET for the treatment of depression.
It may take a few weeks for this medicine to start working. Keep taking it as prescribed.
It should be taken at bedtime.
Use caution while driving or doing anything that requires concentration as AGOVIZ 25MG TABLET can cause dizziness and sleepiness.
