Sore throat

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Do not handle the tablets with wet hands. Place it in your mouth and allow it to dissolve slowly. Do not chew or swallow. It may take sometime to dissolve. Alkof Cough Lozenges Orange may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Alkof Cough Lozenges Orange is a combination of two medicines: Dichlorobenzyl Alcohol and Amylmetacresol which treat sore throat. These are mild antiseptics that kill the bacteria associated with throat infections.

If you miss a dose of Alkof Cough Lozenges Orange, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

You have been prescribed Alkof Cough Lozenges Orange to get relief from sore throat.

Alkof Cough Lozenges Orange should be taken after every 2 to 3 hours or as suggested by the doctor. Suck one lozenge slowly as required.

Do not take it for more than 3 days. Consult your doctor if you do not observe any improvement in symptoms.

Do not take more than 8 lozenges in 24 hours.

Each lozenge contains sugar. This should be taken into account if you have diabetes mellitus.
