Aplex Kit

Aplex Kit may be prescribed alone or in combination with other medicines. It can be taken with or without food. Take it regularly and do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor. You should not stop taking the medicine until your doctor tells you it is okay to stop.

Using this medicine may cause a few common side effects such as headache, diarrhea, nausea, runny nose, and nasal congestion. If any of these side effects persist or get worse, let your doctor know. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent the side effects.

To make sure the medicine is safe for you, before taking this medicine, let your doctor know all the other medicines you are taking. Let your doctor also know if you have any problems with your heart, liver, or kidneys. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor first before taking this medicine.

Psoriasis
Psoriatic arthritis

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Aplex Kit may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Aplex Kit is a combination of three different doses of Apremilast. It works by blocking the action of certain chemical messengers that are responsible for inflammation (swelling) associated with psoriatic arthritis and psoriasis. This reduces the signs and symptoms of these conditions.

If you miss a dose of Aplex Kit, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Aplex Kit is used for the treatment of certain type of arthritis (psoriatic arthritis) as well as a particular skin condition (psoriasis).

Before using this medication, tell your doctor your medical history, especially of kidney disease, mood disorders (such as depression), or any allergies.

You should know that your mental health may change in unexpected ways and you may become depressed. In such a case, you or your caregiver should inform the doctor immediately.

Monitor your weight on a regular basis during the course of treatment. If you notice you are losing weight, consult your doctor.
