Give Besone 5mg/5ml Syrup to your child with food. The usually prescribed frequency is once daily, preferably in the morning after breakfast. 05What If You Miss A Dose?

09Drug Tips
Prefer giving Besone 5mg/5ml Syrup with food as an empty stomach can trigger acidity and gastric reflux.
Do not give this medicine more often or for longer than advised by your doctor.
Your child may be more likely to get new infections. Also, in some cases, old infections may become active. Tell your child’s doctor if you see any signs of an infection such as fever, cough, vomiting, or diarrhea.
Delay vaccination while your child is taking Besone 5mg/5ml Syrup as it may not work well. As soon as your child feels better, the vaccine can be given after consulting a doctor.
Do not stop the medicine abruptly. Seek the doctor’s guidance to taper the dose gradually as sudden withdrawal may result in a steroid withdrawal syndrome.
