Bonitar 400 Tablet should be taken as your doctor’s advice. Your doctor will decide how much you need to take and for how long. You may take it with or without food. Take it regularly and take it at a fixed time each day to help you remember. You should not stop taking the medicine suddenly and continue taking it for as long as the doctor has prescribed.Common side effects of this medicine include respiratory tract infection, nasopharyngitis, low blood platelets, decreased white blood cell count, anemia, headache, breathlessness, cough, increased liver enzymes, diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, and abdominal pain. If any of these bothers you, let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them. You should also inform the doctor immediately if it causes severe headaches, swelling in one leg, pain on breathing, or changes in vision or hearing.Before taking

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Bonitar 400 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Bonitar 400 Tablet is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor that is used as an anti-cancer medication. It works by blocking the action of the abnormal protein that promotes the growth and spread of cancer. This helps to stop or slow the spread of cancer cells.
06What If You Miss A Dose?
If you miss a dose of Bonitar 400 Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

Bonitar 400 Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
Breast feeding:CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR
Bonitar 400 Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Driving:CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR
It is not known whether Bonitar 400 Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Kidney:CAUTION
Bonitar 400 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Bonitar 400 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver:CAUTION

10Drug Tips
Bonitar 400 Tablet is used for the treatment of thyroid cancer.
Take it with or without food, preferably at the same time each day.
Diarrhea may occur as a side effect. Drink plenty of fluids and inform your doctor if it doesn’t stop or if you find blood in your stools.
Use a reliable contraceptive method to prevent pregnancy while you are taking this medicine and for a month after you stop taking it.
Monitor your blood pressure regularly while taking this medication. Inform your doctor if you notice symptoms of very high blood pressure such as severe headache, confusion, problems with your eyesight, nausea or vomiting.
It may cause serious bleeding problem. Inform your doctor if you get headaches, stomach pain or if you notice blood in your urine or stools.
Do not take this medicine if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
