Cifbax-B Eye/Ear Drops is to be used only in the affected eye or ear. Read the label carefully for instruction before you use the medicine. Use it in the exact dose and duration as advised by the doctor or as instructed in the label. Wash your hands before using this medicine. Complete your dose even if you feel better. Stopping the medicine too early may bring back the infection.Use of this medicine may cause burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the site of application. Cifbax-B Eye/Ear Drops is a combination of two medicines: Ciprofloxacin and Betamethasone. Ciprofloxacin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Betamethasone is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the eye red, swollen and itchy.

Your doctor has prescribed Cifbax-B Eye/Ear Drops to cure your infection and improve symptoms.
Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
Do not touch the tip to any surface, or to your eye/ear, to avoid contamination.
Talk to your doctor if your symptoms haven’t started to improve within two days of starting treatment, if they get worse during treatment or if you get another eye /ear infection.
If using Cifbax-B Eye/Ear Drops for the eye:Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.Do not wear contact lenses while using this medication.It may cause short term blurring of vision when first used.
