Cipnol Eye/Ear Drops is to be used as per the label instructions or as suggested by your doctor. This medicine must be applied only to the affected eye or ear and use it regularly to get the most benefit. The course of the medicine should be completed even if you feel better. You must wash your hands before administering the medicine. Do not use it more than the recommended dose.The most common side effects of it are eye or ear irritation, watery eyes, and burning sensation. These are usually mild and short-lived. Consult your doctor if any of the side effects persist or worry you. However, if you experience any allergic reaction (rashes, itching, swelling, shortness of breath, etc.), you must seek immediate medical help.Before using it, tell your doctor if you have an underlying disease or are taking medicines for any health condition. This medicine is for external use only.Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye/ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid or ear. Wipe off extra liquid.

Cipnol Eye/Ear Drops is a combination of two medicines: Ciprofloxacin and Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose which bacterial eye infection. Ciprofloxacin is an antibiotic. It prevents the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria. Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is a lubricant similar to natural tears. It provides temporary relief of burning and discomfort in the eye.

If you miss a dose of Cipnol Eye/Ear Drops, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

Cipnol Eye/Ear Drops is used to treat bacterial infections of the eyes such as conjunctivitis or pink eye. It stops the growth of bacteria causing infection and helps relieve pain, swelling, redness, itching, or irritation in the eyes. Cipnol Eye/Ear Drops also adds moisture to the eyes and reduces dryness and burning sensation. Use it 2-3 times a day for at least a week or as prescribed by the doctor. Do not touch the tip to any surface, or to your eye/ear, to avoid contamination.
Talk to your doctor if your symptoms haven’t started to improve within two days of starting treatment, if they get worse during treatment or if you get another eye /ear infection.
If using Cipnol Eye/Ear Drops for the eye:Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.Do not wear contact lenses while using this medication.It may cause short term blurring of vision when first used. Use caution before driving or using machines.
