Clotina-V Vaginal Suppository is to be used as per the label instructions or as suggested by your doctor. This medicine is only for vaginal application. You must wash your hands before and after using it. It is best to use this at bedtime regularly to get the most benefit. If there is any accidental exposure of the medicine to the eyes or mouth, you must wash immediately. For better efficacy of the medicine, the course of the treatment should be completed even if you feel better. Do not use it more than the recommended dose.

If these side effects do not improve with time or worsen, inform your doctor. Clotina-V Vaginal Suppository is a combination of four medicines: Clindamycin, Clotrimazole, Tinidazole and Lactobacillus Sporogenes which treat vaginal infections. Clindamycin is an antibiotic that stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Clotrimazole is an antifungal medicine that stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their protective covering. Tinidazole is also an antibiotic that kills other infectious microorganisms in addition to bacteria by damaging their DNA. Lactobacillus Sporogenes is a live micro-organism that maintains the vaginal tract in a healthy condition.

If you miss a dose of Clotina-V Vaginal Suppository, use it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

10Drug Tips
Clotina-V Vaginal Suppository is inserted into the vagina using an applicator, usually at night before going to bed.
Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
Avoid contact with your eyes. If accidental exposure occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
It may cause minor burning, stinging, or irritation when applied. Inform your doctor if this does not go away.
It can damage condoms and diaphragms and make them ineffective at preventing pregnancy. Ask your doctor about other suitable methods of preventing pregnancy.
Inform your doctor if your symptoms do not get improved within 3 days of taking the medicine.
