This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the gel. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.
05How It Works
Diclovijx Gel is a combination of four medicines: Diclofenac diethylamine, Methyl Salicylate, Menthol, and Alcohol. Diclofenac diethylamine and Methyl Salicylate are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) which work by blocking the release of chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Menthol dilates the blood vessels causing a sensation of coldness, followed by an analgesic effect. Menthol also acts as a penetration enhancer, increasing the penetration of drugs when applied on the skin, to give a faster onset of action. Alcohol acts as an analgesic and anesthetic and can reduce the sensation of both physical and emotional pain.

Do not apply Diclovijx Gel to large areas of skin or near sensitive areas such as private parts or on broken or injured skin.
It is important that you don’t cover any area of skin treated with the gel with any dressings or bandages unless advised by the doctor.
Remember to wash your hands after applying Diclovijx Gel, unless this is the area being treated.
Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, nose, and rinse thoroughly in case of accidental contact or seek medical help in case of swallowing.
Do not smoke or go near naked flames as Diclovijx Gel increases the risk of severe burns.
Diclovijx Gel may cause your skin to become more sensitive to sunlight than normal. Do not use sunbeds, and protect any treated areas from strong sunlight until you know how your skin reacts.
