This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.
05How It Works
Microgat-DX Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Dexamethasone and Gatifloxacin. Dexamethasone is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the eye red swollen and itchy. Gatifloxacin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria in the eye by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. This treats your infection.

If you miss a dose of Microgat-DX Eye Drop, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

Microgat-DX Eye Drop is used to treat bacterial infections of the eyes such as conjunctivitis or pink eye. It stops the growth of bacteria causing infection and helps relieve pain, swelling, redness, itching, or irritation in the eyes. Use it 2-3 times a day for at least a week or as prescribed by the doctor. Your symptoms might improve after using Microgat-DX Eye Drop. However, make sure to complete the full course of treatment. 10Drug Tips
Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after instilling the drop.
If you wear soft contact lenses, remove them before putting in these eye drops and wait at least 15 minutes before putting your lenses back in.
Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.
Microgat-DX Eye Drop might cause blurring of vision. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how the medicine affects you.
It is advisable to reduce screen time (by avoiding watching tv, or phone) and use sunglasses while going out into the sunlight.
